The Role
Cognota is hiring a LearnOps Community and Academy Manager to join our Customer Success and Education team. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role at the center of Cognota's go-to-market and community strategy. You will:
- Manage the LearnOps Academy — maintaining our micro certifications and comprehensive LearnOps certification, responding to learner inquiries, and launching one new micro credential per month based on trending industry topics.
- Build and execute enablement strategies that power scalable learning and content creation across the organization, for customers, and for partners.
- Play a key role in growing and engaging the world's first LearnOps Community, working alongside industry experts and Chief Learning Officers from leading global organizations.
This role balances creative direction, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution. You will work closely with Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Product, and our CEO to define and build our community and enablement ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
1. LearnOps Academy & Educational Programs
- Maintain and continuously improve the recently relaunched LearnOps Academy, which offers both micro certifications and a comprehensive LearnOps certification.
- Respond to learner inquiries in a timely and professional manner, supporting a positive learner experience throughout the Academy.
- Research trending topics in the L&D industry and launch one new micro credential per month, keeping the Academy current and relevant.
- Maintain Cognota's IACET accreditation and ensure all programs remain compliant, including mapping outcomes, packaging CEU-eligible bundles, and providing transcripts and certificates.
- Oversee and maintain the LearnOps Workshops program, coordinating scheduling, facilitators, and learner experience.
- Administrate the Learning Management System — onboard new cohorts, issue CEUs and certifications, and manage learner records.
- Offer SHRM PDCs and ATD CPTD/APTD credit hours by maintaining accurate program outcome mappings.
- Oversee the development of new educational offerings including webinars and certification programs.
2. Community Growth & Engagement
- Develop and execute the strategy for growing and engaging the LearnOps Community across platforms.
- Establish frameworks and programs to recruit, support, and retain community leaders, moderators, and global meetup groups.
- Create, manage, and support community events including roundtables, webinars, expert Q&As, product office hours, and interviews.
- Build a meaningful communications cadence across social platforms where our community shows up.
- Curate and connect users with extraordinary community-created product education — articles, videos, and educational materials.
- Recruit lighthouse logos for success stories and industry references.
- Measure community growth, engagement, and brand advocacy.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and other business partners to meet program enrollment targets and drive education-qualified leads.
- Report on the success of programs to the leadership team.
- Function as the main point of contact for instructors and facilitators to ensure scheduling and support for synchronous training sessions.
What You'll Bring
Required
- Post-secondary graduate of an education, instructional design, communications, or similar program.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills — thoughtful, direct, and kind.
- Strong ability to manage stakeholder relationships and work cross-functionally.
- Self-starter who takes initiative, solves problems, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Analytical mindset — comfortable using data to inform and refine strategies.
- Detail-oriented with a love for documentation — for yourself, your team, and the community.
- Comfortable working in an outcome-based, collaborative, and transparent environment.
- Familiarity with HubSpot for managing learner communications, enrollment workflows, and reporting.
- Familiarity with one or more Learning Management Systems (LMS) and comfort administrating learner programs, issuing certifications, and managing course content.
Nice to Have
- Experience in instructional design, enablement, or learning and development.
- Familiarity with corporate L&D, learning management systems, and B2B software.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI and content creation tools (e.g., Descript, Synthesia, Colossyan, ChatGPT).
- Experience with micro-credentialing, CEU credit mapping, and professional certification programs.
- Track record building and growing communities, managing advisory boards, or running community events.
- Experience in a startup or scale-up environment — not afraid to be hands-on.
- Experience working remotely.

- Medical, dental, vision, and extended health coverage from day one — no waiting period.
